Chess games

  • • Play personality bots from the Play page — each bot has its own strength.
  • • Only legal moves are accepted; castling, en passant and promotion all work.

Online chess

  • • Choose Bullet, Blitz or Rapid and find an opponent with fair matchmaking.
  • • Browse open challenges in the Online lobby and join a player's game directly.

Ratings

  • • ChessLee ratings are internal ratings, not official FIDE ratings.
  • • Rated games update your rating; casual games don't.

Puzzles

  • • Solve puzzles to raise your puzzle rating.
  • • Hints are available if you get stuck.

Learning

  • • Lessons build from the basics up to endgames.
  • • Studied openings unlock their opening puzzle packs.

Tournaments

  • • Join upcoming tournaments from the Tournaments page.
  • • Add a tournament to Google Calendar so you never miss a round.

Profile

  • • Your profile shows ratings, games and progress.
  • • If no profile picture is set, your initials are shown.

Moderation

  • • Reports are reviewed by the ChessLee moderation team.
  • • Moderation actions are logged for accountability.

Technical problems

  • • Connection interrupted? Reconnect — your progress is saved.
